When you are looking for possible websites to request to connect to yours, begin by searching with your best keywords. Look for websites that don’t compete directly with you, and put in a request to have them link you. Of course, you’ll need to tell them why it is a good idea for them to do so. If you link your website to theirs on your own, it should be a good way to break the ice.
Link building SEO will work best when you make your website linkable. This means putting in weather reports, industry resources, lots of outgoing links, putting in buttons to go to professional groups dealing with your industry and so on. Make sure that you get a testimonials page as well for why your website or your product makes a compelling case. It should be pretty easy going.
